My DS (6) has started to say his willy hurts when he goes for a wee. It started yesterday afternoon and it clearly stings as he yelps when he wees. Same this morning. Will try and catch a sample next time and take him to our walk in but is there anything else I should be doing? Thanks

Sounds like cystitis

Drinking lots of water to flush infection out is recommended and it dilutes wee a bit so not so stingy. Definitely get him seen asap. Urine infections are v nasty and shouldnt be left. Hope he is better soon x

My 6yr old has had balanitis twice, even though it's clean and there was build up of stuff, it can get really sore really quickly so I would take him as soon as possible.

Was also going to suggest balanitis. Take him to OOH.
