Hello all, just posting for a bit of advice.
Took my nephew to the doctors yesterday as he'd come out in a rash over his cheeks, arMs and back, it's fairly red.
Aside from this he had a slightly stuffy nose but nothing major.
The doctor said she thinks it's allergy related and possibly viral but said non contagious, said to give him antihistamine.
Well today the rash is now on his legs, he's completely fine in himself otherwise though but I'm wondering if it's measles? He's been vaccinated but obviously nothing is 100%.
I have attached a picture sorry if it's not very clear.
Am just worried as my 15 month old dd has been around him!

Looks similar to the rash my DD had a few weeks ago. It was slapped cheek.

Has he had cold like symptoms, sore throat or tummy in the last week or so? That's what happened with DD then a few days later the rash came out.

Looks like urticaria/hives to me, an allergic reaction.

Slapped cheek / parvo looking at his face?

Yep Slapped cheek, DS had exactly that rash and was diagnosed by GP this week.
Once rash comes out they're no longer contagious apparently
