Bruise? Nothing or worth a GP appointment?

We noticed this Saturday morning on my 5 year old. No-one recalls seeing it earlier in the week & he has no knowledge of hurting/hitting his leg.

Is a GP appointment OTT? Or would you just wait and see?

He does have low vit D & he does complain about leg ache which he is now but that is not new as has mild hyper-mobility.

I'd wait and see. 5 year olds bump themselves a lot without noticing.

It looks like a completely normal bruise to me and I wouldn't even think twice about it if it were on my ds. (But then my ds doesn't have vit d deficiency or hyper mobility-do either of those conditions mean he'll bruise more easily or that bruising is a particular worry?)

Thank you - think I was just over thinking it. He does bruises easily, it just worried me as it felt like it came from nowhere.

My Ds has hyper-mobility and bruising is a big part of it. His legs are always covered and we rarely work out where they're from Smile
