Impetigo or cold sores?

Any ideas? No gp until Monday and the walk in place could be hours to wait. Started off with inside her nose and has spread. She says it isn't itchy though. I've got Zovirax hard to tell if it's had any impact. Dd2 has nothing. Thanks

The fact it's come from the nose is worrying. Rather than zovirax I'd be dabbing TCP on it. Doesn't look like impetigo to me but I'm not a doctor.

Go and see a pharmacist today they are good for this sort of thing and will be able to tell you what you should be putting on it if anything.

Worrying why? I will take her to pharmacist in a bit

Because it's spreading if it's come from the nose.

Make sure she has separate towels.

Might be worth waiting to see Dr at walk in. My daughter had a sore nose and a couple of spots on her face. Whilst they in themselves didn't look like impetigo the fact that she normally didn't have spots they treated it as such (her nose was definitely impetigo). Because they were treating 2 areas she got an oral antibiotic. Whilst I agree it doesn't look too bad I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is x

And if it is, it can start spreading very quickly.
