Lump under bruise

Hi my daughter has a little bruise on te side of her stomach. It looks like she has walked into a corner of a table at school or something.

I can feel a gristly/hard lump beneath the bruise. Is this normal? Thanks x

Yes, I think so, if it was a hard knock. My dc have had them on their legs and they usually take a few months to disappear.
