Does this look like early Chicken Pox?

DS had a few small raised spots around his belly button this morning, I didn't think much of it as he's got no rash and is well in himself, only other thing is he's had a few "soft nappies" since yesterday, not full on diarrhoea just very soft, both the rash and the nappies I put down to the heat.

This afternoon the rash has spread across his belly and chest so took him to the chemist to let the pharmacist take a look and she said it looks like first signs of chicken pox and I'll know for sure by the morning. Since we got back 2 more spots have come up on his back.

I'm a bit unsure from looking at pics on google of chicken pox rash but I'm worried if it is chicken pox as I'm 8 months pregnant and the NHS site says it can be dangerous for the unborn child to come into contact with the virus?

I've added a pic of the spots but they are more red in real life they don't look much on the pic.

Thanks for any advice!

Have you had chicken pox? If so you are likely to be immune and therefore no danger to the baby as long as it stays where it is for the time being
