Hello

My dd has a lump on the back right hand side of her head which a couple of separate GPs have all said is absolutely nothing to worry about. It is either a gland or could have always been there but definitely nothing serious. They both said 100 percent.

Any experiences of glands and how long they take to come down? She has had a slight cough and runny nose recently but no temperature. It is sometimes easier to find than other times but I can't stop checking it. I think I may have come across another one too, but this is because I am feeling all the time when she is asleep. The doctor said I would have had to have been "really feeling" to have even found the first one.

Thanks

Aww they can take a couple of weeks, my little boy had them underneath his ears when he'd had chicken poxs the doctor said they take a while to go down. I was told to give it a few weeks and pop back the doctors if they hadn't gone, hope this helps👍

I have a small lump on the top of the back of my neck/bottom of head which has been there for 51 of my 53 years - doc said sometimes that's just it - they go away sometimes, sometimes not.
