Thrush in children?

Dd (6) has been complaining of itchy vulva. Not sure if it could be thrush or if anyone has any other ideas? It's not worms I know that much. If it carries on I'll go to the gp but any ideas of how to relieve it now for her would be great. We've used canesten and she's got a cold compress on which seem to have helped but she was in tears with it earlier. Really feel for her but as I've been lucky enough to not suffer with it I don't really know what to do for the best

Are you absolutely sure it's not worms?
Washing powder?
UTI
Stop all scented bath additives, bicarbonate of soda or oatmeal sachet in the bath. Canestan if looks like thrush. Metanium can be very soothing.
As you say, GP if doesn't settle.
Antihistamine to reduce itching and help sleeping - piriton.

99% sure it's not worms and I don't think it's a UTI (no other symptoms that suggest it)
I'll definitely try the oats, metanium and piriton if she's still not comfortable tomorrow and then GP if that doesn't help. Thank you :)
