Oozing ear

DS(8) had bad ear ache, see GP wed, bulging eardrum, infection and antibiotics prescribed. Told to go back if oozes. Tonight it's oozing yellow pus so assume eardrum has ruptured.

Will call to go back on Monday but if he is already on antibiotics is there much point?

We go on holiday Saturday, he won't be able to swim will he? Bugger.

Go back to GP as instructed; ask about swimming. DD had to take a week off then wear earplugs so you might get away with it.

He was so much brighter but this evening has a temperature (he didn't have one wed when ear infection was diagnosed) and is rough and feeling very sorry for himself.
