Dd (9) has had an overactive bladder for a few years. She's been on tolterodyne for a year - but in the past few months it has got worse and she has started bed wetting as well as daytime. It's very hard on her and we are struggling too. We saw a Dr about a month ago who hinted that there may be an operation that can be done after she's 10 or so if it hasn't improved. In the meantime she suggested a tens machine and a scan - but we have heard nothing since from the NHS. Does anyone know if there is something major (like an op) that would help? Has anyone had more help going privately? She's in a lot of discomfort, and embarrassed and I so want to help her ASAP. Any advice?
