Constipation in New Baby

How can you help your baby poo? Our baby has Colic and is 4.5wks old. He use to do poo's more often but now it's like once a day. He hasn't done one since this time last night and you can tell he's trying. Help!

Doesn't sound constipated if he's going every day. Is it hard and dry or normal consistency?

Are you using the recommended amount of formula in the feed.Too much powder could make baby constipated.
