DS went swimming on Tuesday and on the Wednesday was complaining that his ear hurt. Took him to the doctors on Thursday and she said his ear is inflamed and 'manky' (her words!) and prescribed a spray called Otomize to be given 3 times a day. The spray seems to really hurt when I give it, and he is still in a lot of pain. Nurofen is taking the edge off but he's been on maximum dose since Thurs.
Would you go to Out of hours today? Continue the spray even though it really hurts him? Not sure what to do. Thanks.
