Temple head injury

Son has had a nasty bash with another boy and his temple is swollen. He says he feels ok except a slight headache ie no dizziness or feeling sick. Should I just observe?

I had to take my baby to urgent care centre last night as her lovely brother pushed her into a concrete post.
All ok apart from needed her forehead glued.
I was told if she was sick more then once, irritability (more then norm).
Very sleepy, loss of feeling in arms or legs,(not that she would be able to tell me).
So if your child is not having any of the above, and your happy with how he is in himself then I would just observe him, keep an eye on the headache though.
