My dd is 10 and is showing symptoms of crohns,, we were due a blood test today but it was unsuccessful as she nearly passed out.

Have googled and wished i didnt

Whats life really like if you have a child with Crohns?

[fllowers] for DD. First concentrate on getting the bloods done as it may be another inflammatory bowel condition.

Crohn's can be be bloody miserable but think about that when DD has had a clear diagnosis. Although unpredictable, it can be well managed with the right medication so there is hope.

thank you, we are going to try again next week, poor lamb was a right state and so was i!

Hoping its not crohns but the symptoms seem to fit

Anxiety
stress
weight loss ( recently and fairly suddenly at least 7lbs)
no appetite
when does eat can only eat a little as tummy bloats or hurts
not eating in public/ at school/ in restaurants
windy
tired
upsets easily

She had post viral fatique this time last yr for 6 months and i wonder if her current symptoms are in relation to that.

Just want her well again :(

Those symptoms aren't a fantastic fit for Crohns tbh. Any bleeding, anaemia, diarrhoea? What was the blood test for? Coeliac disease might be another possibility (and is to be preferred). Or gastritis?
