Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Normally very pale and isn't sunburned/hot/ill . It's mostly across her cheeks and nose and isn't hot to the touch.

A few people have noticed and I have no explanation. She's not overweight or has been doing any excessive exercise.

The skin isn't irritated, just red (as if she was embarrassed) except she doesn't go red when she's embarrassed normally.

Any ideas?

Are you sure its not slapcheek?

I thought about that but she literally has no other symptoms apart from a bit of diarrhoea yesterday. (Which I suspect is from a night of eating rubbish at Grandmas rather than illness)

She's feeling fine and no temperature or runny nose etc.

DD1 didn't have any symptoms other than the rash with slapped cheek. In fact the GP thought it was probably just a viral rash and that she could go to school etc as normal. She looked terrible (it was all over her body) but was dashing round as much as ever.
Then dd2 caught it and was bad (temperature over 41deg for 3 days). That's when we found out it was slapped cheek.

However ds subsequently has had a viral rash which looks almost the same so I can totally understand the GP diagnosing a perfectly well except for the rash girl as having a viral rash.
