Weaning& constipated

My 7month old has been constipated ever since I started weaning..
Is there anything I can do to help her?
Just get like little balls through out the day but she strains so bad. She drinks a lot of water through the day also.
Anyone else experiencing this?

What foods are you giving? Rice and bananas can be constipating

Any veg and fruit.

I'm having this problem on/off with my 1year old. A few prunes usually helps everything along.
