Rash on DD, any ideas?

How is she in herself? Do you mean it doesn't fade under the glass? Sometimes a non-blanching rash happens in a viral illness, but if she has a non-blanching rash and is ill than you need to seek help. Does she have a temperature? Is she ok in herself?

Fortunately she is fine in herself Smile

Then try a anti-histamine if it is an allergy or similar it will respond to that if viral it won't...

IT looks like an eczema/dermatitis patch. I get it like that when I wear shoes with an elastic strip in.

Keep an eye for more patches on legs and maybe arms, possible swollen joints and/or tummy aches. Have a google of Henoch Schonlein Purpura. If you are concerned that this could be the problem please see a medical professional as kidneys need to be monitored. Usually however for most it is self limiting and not severe.

It looks to me like something has rubbed it and irritated it. Has she has new shoes lately?
