DS-8- has worn glasses for 5 years. He is currently undergoing chemo for a Brain Tumour ( known to cause visual problems). We saw a specialist a couple of weeks ago and she recommended him being registered as partially sighted.
The certificate has come through with details of his eye exam that she did. I'm confused by the numbers! One box says- visual function- best corrected- (R) 0.18 and (L) 0.24. I don't know what these numbers mean?! Anyone able to help?
