Persistent throat infections

I have a 1 year old boy who since 6 months has been given antibiotics 10-11 times for bacterial throats infections. He is constantly poorly and im worrying it's becoming normal for him. I've got him referred to a hospital. Does anybody have any experience of this/advice?
Or advice on how to boost his immune system? He never seems to build up enough after one infection before he gets another.
Thanks

Totally understand my boy was in and out of hospital as he frequently had infections he got referred to ENT specialist and his adenoids had to be removed since January he's not been too bad slight runny nose just one bad viral infection last week other than that he's been doing well I would ask to see ENT

How old was he when they removed them? He's going to an ENT specialist on Tuesday. Fingers crossed we don't get fobbed off

He was 21 months old, there is a big improvement in him no more congestion coughing fits etc just the odd wee sniffle until he caught a bad virus

Wow I didn't think they'd operate that early, thanks that's great given me a bit of hope Smile
