HELP PLEASE: Sleepy baby not feeding

Since my baby has been a week old he has been taking 5oz on a regular 3/4 hourly basis.

He's now 3 weeks old and since 12am last night he has only taken a maximum of 2 oz per feed and is falling asleep on the bottle.

I am waiting on a ohonecall back from my HV.

He is also pretty snotty and is waking himself up crying then going straight off again.... He doesn't have a temperature and is still doing wet nappies.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Awww.
I suggest you call the GP and ask for him to be seen today. If they don't have available appointments explain the problem and ask for a call back to speak to a GP.

At this age feeding is hard work for babies, and they nose breath, so a snotty nose and virus are more challenging for them.

But if he is more sleepy than normal and not feeding as usual he needs to be seen today.

Hope he gets better soon.
