Conjunctivitis and school

10yo ds is developing conjunctivitis. I've just been to the late night chemist to get the drops, and have given him the first dose.

His eye is pink and itchy, as are his eyelids, but there's no pus.

Please tell me it's ok for him to go to school tomorrow!

It's ok. My DD had it a few months back, just a bit crusty, and I phoned the school before start time and they said it's on their fine to go in list.
It also states it's fine on the NHS website. If he will put drops in himself can pack them in a lunch box with ice pack and he can put them in if his eyes get uncomfortable.

He tried it on with me this morning:

"How bad would you feel if you made me go to school and I infected other children?"
