Weak ankles?

My 5 yo keeps going over on her ankle/s when she is just moving around, running, playing etc. She was not at school on Friday and i noticed he did it 3 or 4 times, she is aware of it and said it happened quite a lot (unprompted)

Made me remember I used to always do it too as a child and it is one of the reasons I don't wear heels.

Is it a thing? And what can I do to help her?

Supportive ankle boots? My son wears little lace-up Timberland boots for school as he is slightly hypermobile (and I think I am too).

More supportive shoes/boots, also consider putting her in ballet (does wonders for strengthening ankles) :)

Ballet is a good call thanks

I don't want to put her in supportive shoes particularly I want to help her get stronger. Is this not right?
