DD is 7 and has spots

She's had the occasional spot all her life, but currently has about 5 or 6. And I have noticed that her brother (2) also has a spot.

What on earth could this be about? They have a reasonably good diet - as good as I can make it. We wash their faces, wash their facecloths.

Any ideas?

Molluscum?

Is there any pattern to the spots (location, shape, size etc)?

A spot could mean anything!

Hmmm. I don't think molluscum. They look most like teenager-y little reddish pimples. On her cheeks; and she is a terrible picker of them, so they turn into sores.

Just seems - odd. I might ask a chemist?

That would be a good start. Or post a pic?
