Dd is 7 and recently she has complained of shooting pains in her head they are short lived and she is otherwise in good health with lots of energy. She is prone to sinusitis and we are awaiting for ENT appointment for enlarged adenoids and tonsils. Recently we have noticed that she is grinding her teeth
In her sleep. We can her across the landing and it sounds horrible. Any suggestions on how to help her or do you think I should report the pains to GP?

I would make an appointment to see GP, just mentioning the shooting pains and the teeth grinding, while waiting for the referral to ENT. Just talking to a professional will relieve your worries, you can always mention it again when she's seen by the specialist.
