My baby is BFed and hadnt pooed for a week. She usually goes daily or every 2 days but I know it can be normal to go longer.

Today she finally went and it was truly massive. It was everywhere. All up her back,in her hair, her arms even under her neck. Whilst I was trying to sort her out she touched it and put her finger in her mouth.

There was so much of it and it was accidental, I literally didn't see her touching it and the the minute poo was in her mouth.

She's 5 months and I'm worried. Could this be harmful?

I wouldn't worry. Most children get their own poo in their mouth at some point.

DD2 did that twice. There was no harm done to her. Apart from vile smelling breath for a few hours Hmm
