Regular vomiting 5 year old DD

My DD who is 5 has had vomiting 'bugs' in Oct, Dec and now another...with each bug there is usually 2 days of vomiting and then a temperature up to about 39.5 (underarm) no one else in the house gets this 'bug' which makes me think its bacterial not viral - However a common denominator seems to be eating out and often it's like a fried food. Could she actually have an allergy to the oil used in some restaurants ? sat night we ate in a high end gastropub and she had their version of chicken nuggets which were large pieces of chicken breast. Which appeared fully cooked.. previously we ate out she had fish and chips in a local pub and was fine. Before that it was fish and chip shop and she was ill. We don't eat out a lot but I'm thinking it seems to correlate. But as she gets a temperature I'm thinking there is some infection? Any thoughts? Finally she is a good height 50th centile but recently measured is only 7th centile for weight!

This happened to us last spring, three really close together and then nothing since last May. So it can happen, like you I was a bit worried. The fact she has a temperature makes abdominal migraine stuff less likely I'd have thought.

If you are worried about weight have you used the NHS BMI calculator? Also make sure the scales are absolutely accurate because half a kilo while irrelevant in adults can make a massive difference in 5yos.

Or is she 7th centile for BMI - is it a measurement from school?

7th centile on the BMI calculator online. She has trips to hospital for other issues (she's fine just under observation) and they weigh her and look at her height. Last time they said they will keep an eye on her weight gain. But these bugs have set her back. She's due hospital again in april so I'll mention all this. Thank you. Never heard of an abdominal migraine

Yes I'm thinking grease or an ingredient/ oil used by restaurants but she ALWAYS gets a high temp

Looking into abdominal migraines she does suffer from a lot of the symptoms. But she has a temperature which makes me think it can't be?

I don't know, as I said we had a similar spell with dd2 and I think it was just some unlucky coincidence. No one else caught hers either :/. It's impossible to tell.
