My 10 yr old lad gets these dry patches of skin on the back of his leg each year. He usually reminds me several weeks after they start hurting him of course. I've started putting e45 on them. He says they're itchy. What is it?

It could be eczema but you really should go to a GP to get a diagnosis and effective creams etc

Thank you. I've bought some cream but I'll take him to the chemists or doctors too

Could he be sitting too close to a radiator or something, if it's always this time of year?
