Hi All,

I recently took my daughter to the GO with some videos of her that I've recorded. The GP thinks she may have complex partial seizures or possibly absence seizures. She's nearly 6 years old and this started probably about a year ago and has been getting worse since September. Her teacher has previously said She is quite a day dreamer and seems to have gaps in her ability to recount what she's been told.
Today she was 'in a world of her own' and nearly walked into traffic! She was unresponsive and I had to drag her back...resulting in her falling flat on her bum!
What happened at you neurologist referral? What tests did they do? How long did it take you to get a diagnosis....or be told s/he wasn't epileptic?
TIA
