Head lice itching

How long after treating, combing and recombing twice (no more found) does the itching last? I think I have been clear since Saturday but still itching. Does that mean I am not clear? Aaarg horrid things!!

In my experience, you can itch for a little while after treatment! Your skin is probably a little irritated from the lice and the treatment and will take a while to settle. Do another comb if it persists!
