my DS5 fell and hurt his nail/finger badly. This happened on Saturday, DH was with him and said it bled pretty bad, he tried to clean it and then put a bandage one. I now noticed that it smells and it does not seem to be healing.
It does not seem to hurt - can I try to clean it better and see if it starts to heal, or you reckon he'll need antibiotics?!
And would you just clean it with water and soap, or something else?
thanks!

Get someone to take a look at it, practice nurse maybe? Try cleaning with cooled boiled water with small amount of salt dissolved in it.

I'd get antibiotics... I wouldn't want to risk sepsis.
