Winter bug - Sore throat and vomiting :(

12 year old DS started with VERY sore throat (wont speak) and vomiting last night. Has high temp and generally feels crap. Throat doesn't look strep - not spotty etc. Anyone else suffering at the mo?

Scarlet fever is going around and two of mine had it when they were 10 and 12 it doesn't just affect little ones. They both started with vomiting and sore throat. My toddler grandson also got it two weeks ago, again vomiting and then sore throat.
My daughter also vomits with tonsillitis.
Is his tongue red?

Hi. No his tongue's not red and no sign of a rash. Just literally awful throat that's not relived by calpol and vomiting on and off....looking pale and feeling horrible...24 hours now :( Not sure what it is ...some virus I guess
