Doctor visits for babies?

Hi ladies,
How often do babies need to see the doctor for routine visits for weight, height, and vaccinations? I'm from Canada and usually the doctor do these visits spaced at 2 month,4 month,6 months, 9 month, 12 month,1 5 month etc intervals.

Do GPs do these visits in the UK? And at what frequency?

Thank you very much,
A.

No the gp do not do these checks in the UK, only one at 6-8 weeks.
Then only see them if ill or have a health concern.
The health visitor normally do all over checks which is at about 10 days,9 months and 2 years.

Your HV will run a drop in session so you can get baby weighed more often if you like. They advise no more often than once a month between 2 weeks to 6 months, once every two months between 6 and 12 months and once every 3 months at over 12 months.

HV is available to call, text or email for questions about child development and parenting.

In addition to the ages for checks about our health visitor does a check at 6 to 8 weeks.

As I had a c section and was struggling with breastfeeding and being a new Mum by health visitor came out to my house weekly until 6 weeks.
