Hi there,

My name is Seb.

I'm a designer, specifically an industrial designer. That means that I attempt to use design to change behaviors for a greater purpose, this can be through products, services or creating an experience. I am currently in my fourth and final year at Newcastle University. As such I am working on my final large project.

The topic for which I have chosen children's dental health.

I have come to Mumsnet as a large part of my online research has lead me to this site. So I thought i'd get it from the horses mouth as it were.

I'm here to ask about particular nuances or problems that you've had in the past when teaching your children about oral health.

  • Is it boring or messy, can it sometimes be difficult, is it a little time consuming as you have to stand over your child?

I'd really appreciate if you could just take a few seconds to give me your thoughts.

Thank you for your time, mean a lot to me and my work! Grin

PS: I have compiled a short questionnaire of 10 questions. So far it has taken respondents on average less than 2 minutes to complete as they are mainly multiple choice.

I'm only on the front page. Did anyone proofread this for you? I'm sure there's a special section for these type of posts have you been in touch with MN?

Apologies I have since had a look over the questionnaire, I welcome feedback through the forum too.

In answer to your initial question, I have often found that by asking questions in designated areas you drastically reduce the number possible respondants.
