Sick but school play tomorrow

My dd (12yo) is in her very first school play this week. She hasn't missed a rehearsal all term. She doesn't have any lines but is in the chorus of a musical.

She was meant to have rehearsals all weekend but she has a temperature and has felt pretty rubbish (sleeping for most of the weekend) so she didn't go. Her temperature has been around 102 for most of the time and has just topped 103.

First performance is tomorrow night. What would you do? Obviously if she's better it's an easy choice . But what about if she's just as bad tomorrow. Keep her off school, then douse her with neurofen and send in for the performance? Or accept that she'll probably have to bow out.

She's been really committed and doesn't want to let people down. But she's really not well.

If she's really not well she can't go to school or do the performance. It's a shame but it can't be helped. She won't enjoy it if she feels dreadful, and you don't want her keeling over halfway through!
