Verruca - how to avoid it regrowing?

I didn't know what a verruca was, and DD2 ended up with a little cluster of them on her food. Brought to GP surgery and nurse told me what it was, so I have treated first with the freezy stuff (didn't work at all) and now with Bazuka gel. After a week, the smallest three have now finally fallen off, and the big one will fall off in a few more days, I hope.

BUT

The little brown dots are still there, and they are what "grew" into the verrucas in the first place (I thought they were tiny splinters or something in the beginning).

How do I prevent that from happening? Surely the Bazuka gel will just irritate her if I use it on "bare" skin?

If you're unsure your local pharmacist should be able to help you identify if they are remnants of the verruca or not.
You shouldn't put it on healthy skin but if you don't treat it fully they will grow back.
Good luck.
