Cranial Osteopathy Islington

Hi All- I have had cranial osteopathy recommended to me by a few people now for my 5 weeks old son who was very awkwardly positioned at birth. Appreciate some people will be believers and other passionately opposed but I don't wish to kick off a heated debate. I would simply like to know if anyone has any experience of Cranial Osteopathy close to Islington and if they would either recommend or avoid their practitioner- there seem to be a few options and I'm not sure how to assess which is best.
Thanks very much for any help.

Hiya not sure about the location but I can recommend the OCC - osteopathy children's centre who have a training centre in Wandsworth and another location I believe. They provide paediatric training for Osteopaths ( which is an additional qualification) and they do pro bono work with premature babies. They are a charity so there is no fixed fee but suggested donation was around £35. They resolved a feeding with my daughter at 8 weeks following a difficult birth ( ps it's osteopathy which includes cranial but not exclusively cranial) It was recommended to me and I thought it sounded a bit " woo woo" but I wa desperate and I'm so glad I took the chance.

Thank you SpiritedLondon. I am much the same- I wasn't taken with the idea immediately but I think it's worth giving it a try!
