Diarrhea after tonsillectomy

DD age 5 had her tonsils and adenoids removed yesterday.
She was fine after the operation full of beans and playing and ate lots (possibly too much with hindsight).
She woke at 10pm and vomited several times throughout the night and continuing today. I rang the ward and they said to ring back if there was any blood in her sick which there wasn't or if she wasn't keepng fluids down.
She has had diarrhea twice today. Is this normal? I know sickness is common but now I am worried she has picked a bug up from the hospital.

Either the antibiotics upset her (did she have any) or she picked up a bug

Hope she gets well soon

Thank you another time. She didn't have antibiotics. She was in the play room a lot and probably picked something up in there. It's a shame as she was doing so well.
She is drinking but isn't eating at all. I think I will give the ward another ring.
