Hi, just asking for some advice. I have a 6 month that old (giant) baby. He has already had 2 x 1 weeks courses of antibiotics for his chest and is prone to a bit of a wheeze. Last week he seemed to get another start of cold and back came wheezing and coughing. Along with temp of 38.2. Since then he has seemed a bit better, not wheezing and only occasionally coughing. He is playing and feeding well thoigh can be fussy. Despite him seemingly getting better though he still has a temperature on and off. Sometimes it is normal but then other times it goes back up to 38.1 ish. It has been doing this for 8 days now. Should I go back to GP? I am reluctant and GP told me last time they treat child not temperature but it's still hard not to worry. I also no although 38.1 is raised its not very very high. I am not really giving calpol as he seems happy in himself atm. Any advice welcome.
