Getting baby to take medicine

Any suggestions on how to get anti biotics into a 14 month old? (She has bad cough)
Tried using the calpol syringe but most of it comes back out. She is on feeding strike, doesn't take a bottle and is breastfeeding only at the moment (usually has solids but is showing zero interest in them).

Have you tried giving her the syringe at the same time as she is breastfeeding? Rather uncomfy for your boobs but usually works for me.
