Impetigo

Hi everyone this is my first post,

Just wondered if anyone's had any trouble with impetigo during teething? My lo is 20 months and it looks like he has it again for the third time - would love to know if there's a way to stop it.

All advice appreciated

Are you sure its not just teething rash? I know the only good thing for impetigo is aciclovir but not sure if its safe for use on little ones. Take your lo to the chemist. It might just need some E45 cream.

It's more like a blister, had them on his inner thigh before and this ones on his arm. Only gets them when teething though. Got some Fucidin from our GP. Just wish there was some way of preventing it!
