Very active baby

My lo is nearly 5 months now and has always been very active however lately people have started to comment on how much she wriggles and moves. She moves her legs and arms constantly and has started to wriggle backwards off her mat when she is lying flat. Should I be worried about how active she is?

It does sound like DD is indeed very busy :) I don't think it is a problem unless there's anything else you are concerned about. Both DD and now DGD were on the go the whole time unless they were asleep. Arms, hands and legs in constant motion, wriggling about and shunting backwards. Like little eels. I think if everything else is as it should be: feeding, development etc, I'd just think it's that she has a lot to do.

I agree with daily, as long as the development and feeding is in place then there is nothing to worry about. My LO is like that. She never stops. When I was pregnant doctors always commented on how active she was in my tummy and now She wiggles even in her sleep xD

I had a similar baby, his arms and legs just kicked and whirled constantly.

He's a teenager now, does a huge amount of sport and still frequently bounces and jumps around. He's like a coiled spring with a ridiculous amount of energy.

He can play a two hour tennis match without getting tired, and he came top in his year in a fitness test at school a few weeks ago.

Basically he started kicking and jumping when I was pregnant, and hasn't stopped since.
