Pale poops

DS2 is 4 and every now and then goes through a stage of pale poops. It lasts a couple of days then goes back to normal. Pale ranges from very pale yellow/yellow/pale green.
I know this can indicate liver issues, but if it was that(and not diet related) would it be more constant rather than intermittent?

Pale isn't an issue, it's white that is...like white chalk. Everyone gets pale poo sometimes, surely you do too?

Only after a tummy bug. It seems to be getting back to normal now(multi coloured!)
