Mark on DS leg??

Attached a photo- DS sleeps with a hot water bottle and this to me looks like when you've laid with it on one spot for too long. However it's now half nine the next morning (he gets up about half five) and the mark is still there? What is it? Thought I'd ask on here before bothering the poor doctors as its not causing him any grief, not raised not sore not hot to touch just a mark..

Rough to touch?

Itchy?

To me it looks like a classic hot water bottle rash , they can take ages to fade.

Instead of a classic hot water bottle could you get something like this

They are warm and comforting but don't leave a rash if you cuddle with them for too long.

Yes completely well- not itchy or rough the skin is completely normal aside from it being red! Thanks pimmsy it's what I thought- and thanks for the link that's a great idea

how did this heal? My little one has come up in an identical rash tonight on her torso and I’m so worried it will scar
