Red cheeks 1 year old

My one year old has recently developed something new and I'm not sure if ts something that I should be worrying about. The nursery also flagged to my OH the other day but it seems like such a little thing to take to the doctor and I never see the health visitor anymore

Anyway - in the morning his cheeks are normal colour but through the day they just get redder and redder. I've just put him to bed and they were bright red...

Is it anything to be concerned about?

Slapped cheek maybe

Thanks - just read the Nhs guideline as he's off nursery with diaorea so could be? What I'm not sure about is that it's been over a few days with this pattern of getting redder and redder but not red in the morning
