Hand foot and mouth...HELP!

Hi, my little boy is 16 months old and has come down with hand foot and mouth 😞 any tips on how to get rid of it asap? Also, is it contagious until its gone or for the first 48 hours?

My 2 year old has just gotten over it and now my 15 year old has it.
There is nothing you can do to make it go any quicker, it will last between 7-10 days.
I gave my two year old yogurts,cold rice pudding,weatabix.
He hated anything warm and anything to hard as it hurt the blisters inside his mouth.
Also plenty of drink.

I think you just need to ride it out I'm afraid. Hugely contagious via poo for quite a while IIRC. Scrub your hands after each nappy change. We didn't know this and despite normal handwashing, both DH and I got it too.
