Dd had scalp wound which hospital glued together. Wound seemed to bleed a little following but it's been dry now I.e. No leaky stuff for 1-2,days. School tomorrow so do you think I can wash her hair? In theory I should leave it an extra day.
Any experience here?

I had my head glued when I was about ten and we had strict instructions to not get it wet at all. I can remember my mum leaning me over the sink to wash my hair (very long) without getting my scalp wet, it was a PITA.

It sounds like the advice has changed and you can now get it wet after a few days? I would still follow the instructions though and not wet it until they say you can. Put it in a pony or plait if it looks greasy.
