Omega 3

I am finally taking control of DS2's behaviour and have been recommended Omega 3 supplements by child phsychologist... but my question is this. Is it ok to get supplements that have omega 6 too? I am looking at the Equazen brand as I have heard good things but the strawberry chew ones have Omega 6 in too. Most of our diets are too high in omega 6 and too low in omega 3 and there needs to be a balance. If I add more omega 6 to his diet will this be counterproductive? I should add that the doctor strongly suspects a dairy intolerance so we will also be cutting out any dairy... thank you for any words of wisdom Smile
