Blocked nose

I'm a first time mum and I'm currently sitting watching my baby sleep. His nose is blocked and the only thing I haven't got around to buying is a nasal aspirator, I was just wondering if anyone had any other ideas of clearing his nose. Thank you

Saline drops or a few drops of breastmilk popped in his nose

Also prop his cot up with books under the feet at one end so he's not lying completely flat

Last thing - you could try very very gentle nose massage on the outside - don't block his nose with it though! - babies under 6 months can only breathe through their noses except when crying
