Childrens body wash!!

My DD at a few weeks old developed baby acne. I was advised to use soap to dry it up so it would go. This worked brilliantly so I carried on using the soap on her body, face, privates etc... When it was on offer in the store I bulked bought it. Now the soap has discontinued to be made and I've only 1/2 a bar left and my DD is 2 years and 2 months old. I'm in a stress on what will I use once it's finished with. I am wondering what other patents use on thir little girls body ( including face & privates ) for a 2 year old. My DD has no known allergies or reactions to anything.

Erm, just normal children's body wash? What ever's on offer usually, currently we have radox with a picture of Elsa from Frozen on the bottle.

Not sure why you keep mentioning 'privates'? It's a bit odd to mention that part of your child's body specifically. You're not supposed to use soap directly on that area anyway...

Just regular, underfunded vegetable soap.

Stick to a mild product. Minimal fragrance and colour. If your child has no allergies then I don't understand your anxiety.

It's very likely the baby acne just cleared up on it's own, as it tends to do, not because of the miracle power of any particular brand of soap.

I didn't ask that. I was asking what other people use, now that the soap I did use has finished. I.e... Recommendations, because there are so many products out now adays.

I like Childs Farm.

Just looking for recommendations, that's all. I was allergic to most soap products and I just don't want her sensitive parts being sore

I use Simple, as it's unperfumed and uncoloured.

But don't use anything other than water on her privates.

I mention the privates because I'm allergic myself to any soap down there and have to use a special wash. Highly sensitive skin there. Just worried my daughter will have the same painful problem

I don't want her having a smelly bum though!! I've always washed her with soap and her own flannel down there. Obviously not in depth down there but she still needs a wash.

don't use anything on her privates. They shoudl be washed with water only (as should yours)

I use as little as possible with regards to soap etc as we all have sensitive skin. we never use fun bubble baths.

I use Junior E45 bath wash in the bath and that's it. If they need to wash hands etc we have bar of dove soap.

My dd suffered with eczema and pears soap is really good

You should only use water on genitals.

We use MooGoo wash, very gentle.

But why would she need soap on her bum? There's no poo stuck on there I'm assuming, so warm water is all it would need!

For any particularly sticky toddlers I currently use Child's Farm.

Like the others said just water is fine on privates, you risk irritation with soap and there shouldn't be a smell after a soak in the bath anyway.

I think mild soap IS needed on the bum, but not the vulva. Just sitting in water will not magically get rid of faecal bacteria. Soap bum, rinse, and good swish of bath water around vulval area. And don't use bubble bath.
