Baby rash with pics

I have a Drs appointment at 10 after I literallyjust noticed this rash. But could someone put my mind at rest and tell me what this is.

It looks like urticaria or hives.

Usually an allergic type reaction and assuming baby is otherwise well it's probably nothing to worry about. You're absolutely right to get it checked though!

My daughter got this once before, it came and went over a few days, I noticed at the same time she would get very hot then very cold, it looks like hives, an allergic reaction. I gave her anti histamine recommended by pharmacist and it stopped after a week and has never returned. Bizarre, would be interested to know what doc says. Good luck!

Could be hives. My dn gets them occasionally and they come up like red blisters at random and go down again within hours, I'm not sure what triggers them though.

The doctor says that it looks like an allergy and she prescribed Puritan and a cream. Not sure when it's going to go though as it's gotten redder and is now on the back of her legs and face.

The poor thing.

I'd just put cream on the biggest blotches neat and then mix a squeeze of it in with a plain moisturiser like e45 to cover the other areas. The anti-histamine will do the rest!

Could be slapped face. Although most children start on the face, my dd was awkward and it was over her limbs before spreading upward.

How is she? Is there any other symptoms or is it just the rash? Is the rash hot to touch?

She seems alright in herself no noticing the rash. How long does the antihistamine take?
